Have you ever had to leave a job that you absolutely loved? I did just that last week. For the last 5 years, Wedgewood Elementary has been my home, and the people at Wedgewood have been my family.
When the doc told us what we had ahead for the rest of this pregnancy, there was no choice other than to stop working and focus on our son. When I went to tell the faculty on Wednesday morning, I KNEW that Adam and I had made the right decision, but I couldn't help but feel absolutely heartbroken. As I babbled out something about having to focus on my "new" family and leave my "old" one at WWE, I almost fell apart. The reaction I got was one of shock, sadness, and ENCOURAGEMENT. Every, single friend that came up to say good-bye, had only the most encouraging words to say. I cannot tell you how much it meant to me to hear you say "You're making the right decision", and "You take care of that baby!"
Adam and I are full of thankful hearts for all of our friends who have called, texted, emailed, or come by in the last few weeks. We know that when Hudson gets here (not any time soon please!) he will be welcomed into a loving, caring, generous extended family, and that makes us so joyful!

Hello, Momma! You get all the rest you need & enjoy being in bed watching baby Hudson grow & dance around. In a few months you will be a very busy Mommy, so take full advantage of Doctor's orders.

You are already doing a great job as a mama! You are resting and doing exactly what the doc tells you to do! Baby Hudson is just excited to see his mama! Meanwhile give him a talking to and tell him to keep put for a bit longer! Cant wait to see him and I hope you are doing well too!
