So, it was a good weekend.  Adam was off on Friday and that made the entire day 1,000 times better already!  I felt pretty good that day (no contractions), and I enjoyed lying around laughing with him.

We had some fun visitors that day too!

My sister-in-law Jennifer and our nephew Alex came over to bring Hudson "school clothes"...My nephew Alex is 3 1/2 and hilarious!  He was shopping for his own "school clothes" (mother's day out) when he found 2 outfits that were perfect for Hudson.  He told his mom Jennifer that they had to get them for Hudson so he could wear them to school!!!  Soooooooooo cute!  Enjoyed watching Alex run around the house- it is good prep for us to see little kids in our new house- it will help take the "HOLY CRAP" out of our vocabulary when Hudson is running around tearing things up!  Love you both Alex and Jen!

Our other little visitor Friday was my sweet, precious friend Jennifer Ramsey (oops, Jennifer Lockwood I mean!)  I taught with Jen at Wedgewood and she has become one of my best friends over the years.  What a ball of energy and sunlight she was to us on Friday.  It is easy for Adam and I to get a little worried and sad when just sitting around here bored....Jen came and lit up the house!  I loved hearing about all of the latest news from my team at school and listening to Jen tell any story is hilarious...You have to keep your brain working at full speed just to understand her when she speaks (about a million miles per hour!)  Can't tell you how much it meant to us to have you visit Jen- we love you so much.

On Saturday, we had a little elf deliver some fresh fruit and veggies on our door step. I've been enjoying the plums a lot! This person would hate for any attention to be thrown on her, so I will keep her name out of this entry.  I will say that I love her so very much and cannot wait til her throat feels better so that she can come by and visit!  She better bring that baby girl of hers too!  Love you & miss see you everyday friend.

Sunday was Adam's 32nd birthday!!!  I knew all he really wanted was for me to come to lunch with his family for his birthday (annual tradition), so I put my big girl panties on and broke out of the house!  Had a great time with the family and a great Mexican meal from Barcenas (yum!)  It was indeed WAY too much action for me and little Hudson though- we were wiped out! Came home and rested the rest of the day and will slowly be recovering today as well.  Pathetic huh? I feel like I'm 100 years old getting that worn out from just eating lunch! It meant a lot to Adam for us to be there, so it was worth it. Even with the exhaustion, I managed to control any contractions!  Had one, but told my body to relax and prayed a lot, and it went away!!!  Call me the contraction whisperer.

To all of our friends and family reading this blog- we love you and we thank you for your continued support and friendship!  Our hearts are full.

  2. Sarah Bear,

Sounds like a pretty good weekend. Glad you had some friends over to hang out and cheer you up. Really happy you were able to get out and have dinner for Adam's birfday, I'm jealous, i haven't had a taco, burger or steak in 21 days.... This is a cool idea, it's fun to read the adventures of Preggy McPreggerson, and learn what is going on in your world. You tell the Hudster to hang tight, have a peaceful monday, see you soon, keeop the updates coming. Big Bro/Uncle Ev.
